Hanseob Shin is a Postdoctoral fellow at CHEEC at University of Iowa. He holds a Master and Doctor of engineering degree in environmental microbiology from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea. He performs research on resistome, microbiome and CRISPR spacerome analysis in the environment, animals and patients in the One-Health perspectives. His final research goals is to contribute to tackling antimicrobial resistance using CRISPR spacerome approach, and to characterize the association of spacerome with genome evolution.
